hey guys. i just talked to sean about his rjc life and like the RJC polo team, compared to ours... it's disappointing.

firstly, let's look at our team. Every training, I am exasperated, not because of the training itself, but at the number of people we have. Every training, the number of sec 3s that actually train HARD and push themselves, the number is pathetic. YES okay go ahead and tell me, 'are you training hard yourself?? go train hard la then come and talk . now **** off'. or things like that.

I am disgusted, guys. I really am. I am sick and tired of all the unnecessary vulgarities that we use, i am sick and tired of all the ego things we say, i am sick and tired of hearing ppl putting each other down ALL THE TIME. Why? Why all these?

During sprints, i hear some asking others, 'eh did you go all out?' 'no i didn't, and i still beat you noob.' Look. It's not about who is noob and who isn't. It's about giving your best at every training and at the same time, even if you are the best in the team, encouraging your other teammates instead of putting them down. You can go ahead and become the best player in the world and all your teammates hate you for putting them down all the time, or all just not up to standard, you can achieve nothing. NOTHING. Yea okay, go give me a 101 responses, 'oh, i am putting them down so that they work harder'. I am not gonna argue with you really. It has no meaning anymore. Everytime i look at the softball team train, i feel so envious of their team work, their spirit. Is that not possible in our team?

I dont want to go on further, you know what i am trying to get at don't you? And i know, you can go pinpoint at every single loophole in this post and try to put me down for it, but if you really do, you have completely missed my point. So read again and again until you get it. come on. we can change this.

come to think of it i DONT UNDERSTAND WHY we should really care about people reading our blog and our tactics.... anyway the hci and barker coaches all played against us for dunno how many million years already... every year jiaolian also does the same thing ..... as if they dont know how ri plays lol. except maybe this year got slight difference cos got our big brudder ownage centreman! :D unless they decide to bring more men back to mark our centre. but aiya can one la, i think.

those who ponned training today, you know who you are. some of you pon so much that i dont even think you know how much Junjun has improved. and seriously, if you keep ponning, you cant keep up to date with our tactics. like our centreman thingy. drivers and wingers spread out from centre, attract your marker, then try to drop to centreman by drawing the second defender away. quite basic, but if we dont practise as a team, we wont be able to do it. like duh.

Hey Raffles Waterpoloers,

wishing everyone a very, very, very happy new year. May this year bring blessings for one and all, and may you end this year knowing that you had achieved something on both personal and higher levels, as well as taking a deeper breath to inhale a more meaningful lease of life.

And of course.... B Division 2007 draws closer and closer. In silence, hear the clock tick. Every tick brings you closer to the day you will be at ACSI to fight. Fight, yes, fight.

This is the time we've all been waiting for. This is the time of our young lives. Let us realise that this is now, or never. Search ourselves. If we want it, let us go all out to get what we want, and what we feel we deserve. I know we can, and I don't you know if you do, but please trust me and all the others who believe that in April this year, we will lift the B Division trophy as tears of bittersweet, undescribable joy soak our sleeves.

Let us work hard, swim hard, shoot hard, and not look back. In life, we are given many chances, but for many things, it is either you do it, or you don't. And if we want to do it, let us spend some time to think - how best can we prepare ourselves for it? How do we make sure that we will not only hit the top of our game, but even past the top of our game?

Water Polo isn't just a physical sport. The mental factor, believe it or not, is just as crucial. Have those brawns on your biceps, but if your mind is not strong, you cannot win. And of course, let us not be cynical about these words of hope.

Guys, I believe in all of us. We have a great team, and even more importantly, a great team spirit. Keep it burning, keep it burning. Think of yourself breaking down into tears of joy at the final whistle of the matches that come. Keep this vision within yourself, and use it as a motivation to spur yourself, push yourself to become the best you could ever be.

with the prefect elections upon us, it is time to choose wisely. a choice has been given to us and we should appreciate this choice given to us. thus, on voting day, i urge all of you to cast a wise vote, to make an informed choice, to make the school a better place. yes.. and now let me show you the nominees that raffles waterpolo officially endorse.

firstly, Master Ng Zhuo Yang.

this aforementioned character is an esteemed member of the batch of 2008, the current sec 2 batch. he is a member of morrison house and would like many people to think of him as probably the best peer in the world as he tries hard to solve people's problems, and eventually the school's problems. not only do i reckon he is a great peer, i do believe that he is a great junior too... and going by that, probably a good senior too! so do vote him, and make the school a better place. vote ng zhuo yang today, and you will not regret it.

secondly, Master Nigel Choo (choo train)

this esteemed individual is a great leader on and off the water (on and off the pitch) and is regarded highly for his organisational skills and his ability to complete tasks that others would not even dare attempt. yes, he is the master of this and i dare say he would make an exceptional prefect. there have been many comparisons between him and Master Paul Tern (head prefect for the 2007) and i believe these comparisons are very much justified. He is definitely as good as paul tern was to say the least and to add on to that, he is from a better cca!

yeah actually, both of them are from the best cca in the world. coincidentally, im from that cca too. and yet even more coincidentally, so does this blog. ohmy this world really is a small world! so do vote wisely, do make an informed choice, and vote ng zhuo yang and nigel choo for ripb. ri depends on your choice. the world depends on ri. make v a better place, cos V=RI.

1st September 2006.

many people may remember this day as the teachers' day of the year 2006. yet, for a dedicated group of professionals, who name themselves the riwpfc, this day was again another testament to their overwhelming ability, as they emphatically defeated brandon's godbrother team 7-0 at CCAB.

the riwpfc team, made up of brandon, tom, woosheng, jianying, and the impeccable see tow, were able to withstand the "onslaught?" of brandon's godbrother team and eventually emerge winners by of course of course, a very miniscule scoreline. 7 goals la... not much right.

the riwpfc has a long standing tradition of excellence and into its 3rd game of the season, it has a 100% win per game record, and this is reflected in the excellence its members display in the water while playing waterpolo.

SO! this thursday is u18! better buck up you all! youall just have to score 1 goal to win the match! cos the irrepressible see tow will be in goal! or if not, the magnificent brian he-man will be in there to stop the onslaught and start a counter-attack! so u18, here we come! RIWPFC!

whoa this blog is really damn dead man. ok let me talk about my day today. Today was SPW (Special Programmes Week) mini version of sec 3 DMP. i went for Aesthetics course. Guitar and Origami. Guitar was quite fun, nothing specially. Only during origami lesson. We could choose different designs. and there's this design with a penguin. Then i made mine, then later my horny friend made a dick. then he go make different poses like this.

there's a dick if you look closely. anyway the teacher then got pissed and tell us to take away. in the end we made a whole penguin family with a giant penguin that had a dick but the teacher stapled it.

recent events happening in the world (such as the world cup) have influenced the stuff we have been doing in our ri waterpolo.

raffles institution waterpolo football club have embarked on a journey to establish ourselves as one of the forefront football clubs in the world.

a groundbreaking day in the history of raffles institution waterpolo football club (riwpfc)...

after a team sent out by them, consisting brandon, jianying, woosheng, tom and the great seetow overcame a spirited performance by brandon godbrother's team in our street soccer friendly to triumph by a tiny miniscule ultra small scoreline of 10-4.

no mean feat, but no big deal after all. i mean, like just won by 6 goals what.

let me give you an idea of what exactly happened.

as said earlier, i am now posting about how the sec 3 gep portion of the raffles waterpolo team gained from a very enriching trip into the inner echelons of the malaysian society, in our delve into the native civilisation of pahang.

here is what we learnt:

1. words can be altered to form names.

yup, we did have a surprise encounter with our very own lovely and amicable security guard from ri! the really sweet one who loves to chase us out of the pool...

we had a truly malaysian experience (meaning it wasnt very pleasant) but we still managed to learn much about their culture. and this brings me to the second learning point.

2. malaysians are fascinated with male reproductive cells.

or maybe not that. maybe we just learnt something new about malaysian men. that they do not something their reproductive cells like how we learnt in biology in sec 2, but instead it comes out of their mouths! COOL!

3. and of course, a trip to malaysia never fails to enlighten us to their queen's english, or should i say, sultan's english...

no wonder we cant hold any water talks...

JACK. but brandon's team was eventually the champion cuz gareth just happens to be a bit more imba than me. personally i am quite satisfied today. i had 4 goals which pwnt yijing. I TOLD YOU I'LL BE THE JOGIE BEAR TOP SCORER YICHEEK. yicheeks had 3 while yogie had 1. the problem seems to be that we played fewer games and against all the strong teams. we played 11. bra's team played more games. though the way we lost hte 3rd 4th was quite sad as umm. basically a backpass was mis judged and it rolled into the net but its okay. we play for the game, not the scores. joga bonito. anyway. its not fair plz. the system is screwed. its a king of hte court system. we go in. we win. then we win. then we win 5 in a row. the ref blows whistle kicks us out of hte court. i bet we're the first team to receive such treatment. then we gotta find another queue. and queue so long kill another 2 teams including sidestepping brandon then lose to ashvin. then queue again tyco the 2nd best team. draw. both get kicked out. then 3rd time queue win then play the 3rd team, dra, both kicked out again. thus only 8 wins. wtf seriously.

but anyway its not abt the results, its abt joga bonito. physical game, love it. joga bonito. brandon is going international soccer 3v3 joga tournament. good luck to brandon. plz don't let any more ppl sidestep you alright. hahahaha.

oh btw jogie bears did the best amongst the sec4 teams too. yeah the top 3 were sec3 teams. it is THAT bad. but of course we all know who's the best team right.

anyway, since this blog is about our dear waterpolo squad of 07, i do believe that we should move away from the "guidelines" that sean has been posting about having relationships with other sexes or your own sex for that matter.

now, about waterpolo. let me give you our dear readers a brief introduction of the game waterpolo. waterpolo is a competitive game played by two teams of seven players on each side, with one keeper and six players. now you may wonder, who among all these carries the most important role of keeping their team in the game and eventually winning it for them? why, it is none other than the keeper!

waterpolo is about achieving a balance between attack and defence, and if a team, such as the ri team of 07, knows that their keeper is super dependable and ultra pro, they can focus on attacking and leave the defence to the keeper alone. jianying and woosheng counter down the wings, tom centreback counter and tatwai shoot fish or bird... hahaha

now you may wonder, what makes the ri keeper so pro? this question is very easily answered. it is due to his in-born lightning quick reflexes and superb tread water technique (okay fine this isnt true). but anyway, you get the idea of how good the waterpolo keeper of ri is and this will be the catalyst to the championship next year. forget the 4th, where we have all sealed in trophies in some cardboard box, for next year is our year, our championship winning year.

needless to say, you should've guessed the keeper by now, RIGHT?

monday is joga 3 interhouse soccer. take a look at the favourites. the jogie bears, consisting youkai yijing and sean. boasting a delicate balance between stoic defence and attacking flair, they are the favourites to win. on the other side we have the dumbling dollies. kern dumbling yuguang. while once again credit must be given to them for their skillful skills and silky silk, they lack the tactical finese which is the jogie bears. these are the 2 favourites to win the interhouse. anyone who thinks otherwise runs the risk of a repeat of interhouse polo. don't listen to old man's words, confirm ggxx.

TIP1: don't go to places where they take orders. chances are after the orders are taken together the bill will be together and the person the waiter will ask to pay the bill is, you. go to places like PASTAMANIA, YOSHINOYA. relatively cheap places where payment is made separately, yet relatively you know, they just somehow seem abit cooler than your average coffee shop outside. the pretension of being higher class disguises your true intent and yeah you get away with it.
TIP2: DIY = sweet. do it yourself. saves money, saves cash, wastes abit of time but seriously in other to be politically correct you'll HAVE to admit with me you'll just love to spend time doing something for your darling. and it relaly really doesn't matter if you totally suck at art. awkward is sweet too. infact.. shit. ya those professional artists spend half their time trying to imitate a child's impression of something.
TIP3: hahha okay not really a tip. premarital sex is bad so bringing her back home to get things going ain't.. umm a good thing form my point of view. but that's open the self interpretation.

anyway, has anyone read today's Sunday Times? There's this article about WOMEN molesting men. and some 6-yr-old kid got caught molesting a girl. like watturf la. wad does he know abt molesting???!!!! see now we men must stand up against these women. not being sexist la but sincerely it's really too much u noe.

Anyway I sincerely think that buaya king's idea about acting concerned about the girl is great but sincerely mine is more effective. But this one takes a longer time la. but on the other hand can very fast bring her to ur hse and do lots of fun things. sincerely.

so. er. blog about monday lolz.

ok so as you all know, monday is like two days from now, and now is 11.11 pm but you didnt need to know that. mondays are usally days for sleeping in but since we have to go to school instead we wake up early and compensate for the sleep in school. like tom yet the brilliant prefect. so finally, after winning the tennis b and c div title, and after many years of half/full days on third lang days, we have a day off on monday! wow! zomg! pro! gg! gj! yay! can sleep in, skip school, play com, eat, read book , mug right!

so pro!

den one day after the announcement, it turned out that joga 3 aka interhouse soccer is going to be on monday. 9 to 12. ok la so after 12 can screw around at home right. but noooooooo, we just have to have our malaysian cip whatever on monday. so pro right! at 4 some more. so we have 4 hours to burn in between. zomg

lolz ok nvm la anyway monday was going to be spent mugging (ya i know im a mugger) ok so errrrrrrrrr, joga 3!

ya so lucky mondays dont have to wear tie or else we go malaysia wear ties on pe lolz how cool is that. then like 4 o'clock hot hot wear tie go onto the train sleep wear tie. later ur tie get trap on the train door then kena hang den suffocate like that weirdo who claimed the woman he killed had a suicide pact with him. imsure la then they sue the train for killing you then the train tells everyone it wanted to blow itself up but became sick after it saw ur face turn blue.but if it becomes sick means it cannot run anymore zomg means we dont have to go malaysia lolz. then i bet everyone go make suicide pact with the train den ri die omg.

den we will reach malaysia in the middle of the morning/night on tuesday, which is damn stupid coz who in the right mind starts the train in the afternoon and only reaches his destination at some ulu time.

lolz actually saturday is quite a bad day also. zomg la i go and make new foto for my passport coz teacher say i dont look like passport, then when i reach there the queue was two times around the ica building omg thats chao ownage pls. den we wait for like 10 minutes den the ica open so everyone rush in. in the end the queue didnt really matter coz ppl started cutting queue like they cut cake, and since cake has rashes everyone rushed into the building. lolz then we do the passport very fast and zaoed

Moor so noob? Not like bayley. Walao we almost got into the finals, even with 4 out of 7 people in the team being nonswimmers. Almost won morrison but aiya jianying tyco la. Score past seetow means tyco.

But of course, morrison almost won moor. Shows how influencial jianying and shang are. Foreshadows how they will lead us to next year's gold... too bad moor has zhizhi.

Anyway i dont know what to say lalalala everybody better train bloody hard. All must learn how to turn, all must jump past swimming trunks, all must shoot until can break the tiam, all must swim 50 free 26 secs! Hahaha. Holidays better go hardcore.

i always said interhouse waterpolo would be a tightly contested match.
but nooo. no one believed me.
moor has 5 first team sec4 players.
moor has jiahao.
morrison = ggxx.
but wtf can you imagine things from MY point of view. i mean see here. the score is 0-2 morrison is leading nicky missed a coupla one on ones. shangcong and jianying are gaying around in a team FULL, and i mean 100% school swimmers. not just school swimmers. you have zhikang, xuanlang and chenxuan who are seriously swimming the shit out of our non-school players. our atttack is effectively zhizhi me and jiahao manning the whole 6 team defence. then there's weejin shouting "DON'T TRY TO TURN ALR LA." don't try to turn then do what. take foul shoot. take foul then the morrison players use their numerical advantage to put block 5 times and then there's still hanson to beat. on top of that you hit the crossbar 3 times and your going wtf why is the scoreline still 2-0. seriously. but of course all credit to morrison who.. ya came damn near to causing what i myself termed the biggest upset ever in interhouse competitions.

on another note, its quite strange right. i mean, the way waterpolo players always seem to get whoever they want. look, you have chenkai and grace <3 brandon got his peiqi, nicky's crush asked him out, jeremy has his j__y_, yinrong has jeanhui, james miao (most notoriously the one who went "sean you go buaya get girlfriend your polo will suck shit get distracted blahblahblahblah.. etc etc blahblahblah) got a girlfriend immediately in jc orientation week. oh btw jc is gonna be so fun man. like soooooo fun totally. all your friends acting mature and yadda yadda. yeah rj got girl but i mean so what man. not say its any big shakes. but then again i am digressing. so back to the topic why are waterpolo ppl so flirt. i guess its bcuz of this equation zheng told me last time. polo tradition la passed down la mayb? ya could be. just be there for the girl, make her feel that you care for whats going on in her life, be there for her a coupla more times = she's yours. it works, seriously. hahaha okay kidding. i mean abt the it being zheng's quote part, not about it working. it seriously does. zheng doesn't get the credit. i still remember me and samuel asked him how to ask a girl out in like, sec1. and the great great benzheng buaya king blahblah said.. step 1: DON'T try to put your arm around her if the arm rests cannot be removed. trust me, just don't. the cinema seats should be taller than her shoulders unless your attached to a giant and if she really is a giant your arm won't reach around her, anyway. i tried in cineleisure, j8 without removing arm rest, lido. all without any positive result. just don't, seriously. if the setting is instead some shakespeare play or whatever where the back of hte seat not = her height then just put your arm around the seat. it works.
step 2: step 2 is naturally.. remove the arm rests.
step 3: get her to slouch towards you, lean on you whatever.
step 4: TADA duh put your arm around her.

DISCLAIMER.
1. first you must have a certain degree of familiarity with the girl, i'm assuming its not a guy here but yeah i am strongly anti-gay.
